Grand National aim for Evan Williams’ Buywise after Sandown victory

Williams' 11-year-old recorded his first win in nearly three years at Sandown and is now set to head back to Aintree for the Grand National in April

POPULAR veteran Buywise is set for another crack at the Randox Health Grand National following his Sandown victory.

Evan Williams' 11-year-old ended a long losing streak when flying home to land the 32Red Veterans' Handicap Chase Final.

Williams is now set to send him back to Aintree for the National for which he is a 50-1 shot.

"It was a tremendous run. I'm over the moon with him," said Williams.

"He's in fantastic form and will go for the Grand National now. We'll have a pop at it."
