NOT ANOTHER MUDDLE created a good impression when winning at Plumpton last time on his chasing debut. He came away from his rivals after jumping like a natural.

This is a slightly tougher race but you would expect improvement and he handles the ground well.

Diamond Rock hasn’t done a lot wrong in three outings over fences and Richard Johnson is an eyecatching booking today.

1.15 – Mullen’s star bet (add to your betslip)

BALLYROCK has had plenty of success since dropping into this selling class, with two wins and a second from three outings. He had no less than 17 lengths in hand when scoring at Hexham last time and stays further than this.

Hansupfordetroit is interesting dropping down from handicap chase level.

ACTING LASS came back from nine months off to win well on his chasing debut at Market Rasen last time out. He jumped really nicely and looks a real natural over fences.

He likes some give in the ground and looks hard to beat. Cultivator was a good second at Leicester latest and contested Grade 1 races over timber. He is another with potential to improve.

BANJO GIRL was a long way clear when winning at Fakenham last time and and she gets on well with today’s claiming rider. This trip and soft ground is ideal so another good run is expected.

Dessinateur was a good bumper winner and finished a solid fourth at Exeter on his first spin over timber last time. He is clearly capable of better.

MINELLA FOR ME made a costly mistake at the final fence when fourth here last time but had jumped nicely before on just his second chasing run.

He has had a little nudge down the weights and is capable of further improvement.

Chasma is in great form and has a chance of clocking up a hat-trick of wins. She kept finding more when challenged at Southwell last time, which is a good sign.

WIND PLACE AND SHO was given a lot of ground to make up when beaten in a bobbing finish here last time out. That looks a good race and he still has few miles on the clock as a hurdler.

Du Soleil was backed off the boards ahead of his handicap debut at Haydock last time only to fall early on. It’s too early to write him off.
