SOUTHWELL

MAGIC PULSE has been knocking on the door and went down in a bobbing finish over course and distance last week.
She was knocked sideways at a crucial stage there and would probably have won otherwise. She’s on a fair mark and can make up for that disappointment.

HEATHER LARK went well when third at Kempton last time despite being kept a little too far off the pace. That was just her second run on the all-weather so there should be a lot more to come.
2.05
GOING NATIVE is capable of better at this early stage of her career. She was better than fourth place suggests in decent company at Lingfield last time after being hampered as the pace hotted up.
She has moved yards since and should be right in the mix.
GHASEEDAH ran away with a maiden over course and distance but hasn’t been clobbered on this return to handicap company.
She’s still 4lb below her mark from the summer and clearly likes this trip and track.
A repeat of her last run would be more than good enough.
3.10
DECLAMATION couldn’t have won much easier over course and distance last time out. He just went from the front and had six lengths in hand crossing the line.
He has a 6lb penalty for that and can pull off similar tactics again.
3.40
TYNECASTLE PARK showed good staying power when finishing second here last time out. He looked beaten entering the closing stages but dug deep and kept going.
The handicapper has left his mark alone despite that solid effort and he’s got every chance again.
