DIESE DES BIEFFES came back from nine months off to win with plenty in hand at Fontwell last time.

That was over slightly further but he showed lots of speed and should improve for that hurdling debut.

BRAHMS DE CLERMONT was disappointing at Fakenham last time out when backed off the boards.

But he was coming back from a long break and may have needed the outing. The drop back from 2m4f to the minimum should also help matters.

PENGO’S BOY continues in good form and was an excellent third in decent company at Ascot last time out.

That was over half a mile shorter but he shapes as though this longer distance won’t be a problem. A 3lb rise in the weights looks fair enough too.

LOVELY JOB continues to give a good account and did well to finish second at Aintree on his comeback last time out.

He tanked along well there until a lack of fitness told in the closing stages. He won a couple of similar contests to this last term and looks on a fair mark.

AMBRE DES MARAIS landed her third win on the spin at Worcester last time out.

The winning margin of just over two lengths doesn’t tell the full story as she looked to have plenty left in the tank. A 6lb rise in the weights gives her every chance of a four-timer.

DOUBLE ACCORD was going well at Plumpton last time before being hampered and unseated as the race hotted up. She looked on a good mark there and goes off it again.

The only doubt is how she will react to that mishap on her first spin over fences but she did well over hurdles so the talent is there.

FIDELITY has finished second on his past three outings without looking in any way ungenuine.

He takes a step up in distance here which could help matters from what looks a fair mark after a 1lb rise.
