Alan King’s Yanworth falls on second chase start at Exeter racecourse
Punters were left gutted as the odds-on favourite fell at Exeter, with future plans now up in the air
BIG fancy Yanworth fell on his second chase start at Exeter, having been sent off the 2-9 favourite.
Alan King's smart hurdler won easy on his chasing debut last month, and this race had looked to be just another educational run.
He failed to complete though, after taking a heavy fall and getting rid of jockey Barry Geraghty.
The race was won by Briery Queen.
King told Press Association: "He's absolutely fine, thankfully.
"He just landed a touch steep and came down, it happens.
