Horse racing tips: Plumpton, Southwell and Kempton – Templegate’s betting preview for Monday November 6

Plumpton, Southwell and Kempton come under the spotlight as Templegate gives you his best bets for the day.

KITTY BOO (nap) should give the bookies a shock in Kempton's 2.20.

She broke her duck when leading all the way to beat Considered Opinion at Chelmsford in September. Her below-par effort at Windsor last time doesn't bother me as she looks much better on the all-weather. There's a fair chance she'll get her own way out in front today but she doesn't have to lead.

BOY IN THE BAR (3.50 Kempton) ran a cracker at Doncaster last time on soft ground off a mark 14 higher than his all-weather rating and apprentice Manuel Fernandes takes off a handy 5lb.

WESTERN HYMN (2.50) won this race last year. He produced a couple of poor efforts in top races on his last two starts when the soft ground would have been against him. This return to the all-weather can spark a revival for this classy gelding.
