Previous Cheltenham Gold Cup winner Coneygree has been restricted to just three races since his career-defining success in 2015 at Prestbury Park, one being the Betfair Chase at Haydock in November 2016 when he was second to Cue Card.

Whilst Mark Bradstock has had this race in mind for a while for Coneygree, his fragile stable star will only run if the ground is deemed suitable.

Colin Tizzard's evergreen 11-year-old Cue Card won this race in 2015 and could be joined by stablemate Sizing Codelco.
