EXETER
2.20
GET READY FREDDY has plenty of good form over this distance, including a win at Uttoxeter last month.
He was held up for too long at Worcester last time so ran better than fourth place suggests. He should be right on the premises again.
2.50 – Mullen’s star bet
LALOR looks a really nice hurdling prospect after running away with a Grade 2 bumper at Aintree last time out.
He didn’t get out of first gear in winning that hot contest and he should improve further this season.
3.20
DUELING BANJOS has been a model of consistency over fences and finished last season with a close-up second in good company at Newbury.
That was off this handicap mark and over the same trip, so he should be right there again.
3.50
BRAW ANGUS improved as the season went on, with a win at Huntingdon and close-up second at Chepstow to finish the campaign.
He likes some give in the ground and should improve given how few miles he has on the clock.
4.20
MARKET ROAD was last seen winning easily over fences at Ffos Las but his hurdles form is decent too, with a win at Warwick the high point.
He still looks well handicapped, especially with a claimer on board, and is suited by these conditions.

2.50 Exeter – Lalor: ‘Looks a really nice hurdling prospect after running away with a Grade 2 bumper at Aintree last time out’
4.50
YANWORTH is not a betting proposition at long odds-on but he is the horse of the day to watch. He won a host of top hurdling prizes last term, finishing with the Stayers’ Hurdle at Aintree.
He will probably want further than this in time but has an exciting future as a chaser.
5.20
The betting will be a good guide here but SIGNIFICANT OTHER comes from the Skeltons who have their fair share of success in races like this. Acey Milan is another from a yard who does well at this level.
