LEICESTER CITY's owner Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha is splashing out at the flagship Tattersalls Book 1 yearling sale in Newmarket.
The sale, which has seen many classy thoroughbreds go through the ring, has seen Srivaddhanaprabha interested in Frankel offspring.
He is rumoured to have spent 2,500,000gns on a Frankel filly who is a half-sister to Oaks winner Talent, although this is yet to be confirmed, but he had purchased a Frankel colt earlier in the day for 550,000gns.
Srivaddhanaprabha also then forked out another 500,000gns for the top lot of Book 2 of the sale. He spent the cash on a full-sister to Beat The Bank - who he already owns.
Srivaddhanaprabha has had plenty of recent success on the racecourse with Beat The Bank looking a Group 1 winner in the making after his Newmarket romp.
