BIG PENNY improved on her debut second at Catterick when filling the same position at Worcester last time out.
She just got a bit tired in the closing stages and was hampered for good measure, which didn’t help. The benefit of that experience should have brought her on further.

This is a tricky race to assess and BONOBO gets the tentative nod. He dropped down to a minor hurdles contest for a confidence boosting win last time after unseating over fences at Newton Abbot.
He was earlier showing promise as a chaser with a solid third at Stratford. He’s won over the smaller obstacles around here so we know the track suits too.

BEDROCK looks a few steps ahead of these rivals after scooting in at Warwick last time out. He was pitched into an Aintree Grade 1 last term and held his own well to finish third.

POP ROCKSTAR gives the impression that he’s more than capable of winning in this company and was a fair second at Leicester last time out.
He travelled well for a long way there before the bottomless ground took its toll. Conditions are better here and that should help.

All of these have questions to answer but MR MAFIA has been in good form with a win at Stratford and second at Worcester from his past two runs, both over timber.
He looks the type to do well over fences and can build on his previous efforts in this sphere.
