Bath, Newton Abbot and Stratford come under the spotlight as Templegate gives you his best bets for the day
ALL my files point to JIM ROCKFORD (nap) in Bath’s 3.10.
He did well to win over shorter at today’s track two weeks ago after getting hampered early on.
The longer distance should help him step forward again and he looks progressive.
HER TERMS (2.40 Bath, nb) is a fresh filly having had just two runs this year. She made all the running for a narrow Brighton success last time and the return to softer ground shouldn’t be a problem.
SCALES (3.50 Newton Abbot, treble) ran Petrou close at Stratford in May when last seen. That form worked out really well and Scales has a good record following a break.
