Ryan Moore to ride Aidan O’Brien’s Winter in Sunday’s Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe at Chantilly racecourse
The Arc is set to be a battle of the fillies as star three-year-olds Winter and Enable do battle in Paris with a field of 18 set to go to post for the Group 1 contest
RYAN MOORE will ride Winter in Sunday's Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe at Chantilly.
It means the two star fillies of the season, Winter and John Gosden's Enable, will do battle in a scintillating clash in France as 18 were declared for the Group 1 prize.
Aidan O'Brien also saddles Order Of St George, Capri, Seventh Heaven and Idaho with Highland Reel and Cliffs Of Moher skipping the race.
Sir Michael Stoute's Ulysses, second to Enable in the King George but winner of the Eclipse and Juddmonte International either side of that, will attempt to give his trainer a second Arc.
