EXPERT EYE must continue to progress in his work if he is to run in the Darley Dewhurst Stakes.
Sir Michael Stoute's colt shot to the head of the betting for the QIPCO 2,000 Guineas following his impressive win in the Vintage Stakes at Goodwood.
He missed an outing in the National Stakes at the Curragh after scoping dirty.
Teddy Grimthorpe, racing manager to owner Khalid Abdullah, said: "Expert Eye is in good shape now, he's coming back.

"He did a little bit of work on Saturday, nothing too strenuous, and Michael (Stoute) seemed happy with him.
"He's got to progress and please us in the next few weeks if he is going to make the Darley Dewhurst.

Expert Eye the 4-1 favourite for next year's QIPCO 2,000 Guineas.
"Both his Vintage Stakes victory and his maiden win look like very solid form - I notice that Seahenge (Vintage Stakes fifth) won a Group 2 last week and before that Barraquero, who was third in his maiden, also won a Group 2.
"But unfortunately you can't throw the form book into the paddock!"
