AQABAH has the best piece of form on offer in the race thanks to his fifth in the Coventry Stakes at Royal Ascot.
He has had just one run since then when out of sorts at Newmarket and this drop in class looks a wise move. He should see out this distance and the improving ground is a help.

TALAAYEB was fourth in the 1,000 Guineas earlier this season and was a game winner of the Group 3 City of York Stakes at York last time.
That was just the fourth time she’d been on a racecourse and came after a break. She gives the impression that there is a lot more to come.

All ground comes the same to HAVANA GREY and he went mightily close to winning the Group 1 Prix Morny at Deauville last time out.
That was after he won the Molecomb Stakes at Glorious Goodwood over this trip with plenty left in the tank. He likes to go from the front and should be able to dominate these rivals.

TIME TO STUDY is a typical battler from the Mark Johnston yard.
He looked all at sea at Haydock last time but battled on right to the line, seeing out this distance really well. He goes in the ground and wouldn’t have to improve much to win this off the same mark as last time.

SHEIKHZAYEDROAD won this 12 months ago and ran a cracker when fourth in the Lonsdale Cup at York last time out.
He was less than three lengths off the pace there despite meeting plenty of trouble in running. He likes these conditions and rarely runs a bad race so should be right there again.

GHAIYYATH looks the pick of these on breeding and owners Godolphin have had success in this race before.
He should have no problem seeing off this distance with the betting being another good guide. John Gosden won this last year and his pair of Tiffin Top and, especially, Military Law look dangerous.

AMAZOUR is more than capable of winning this and had excuses for a modest run at Newcastle last time where he had traffic problems.
He has run well in a range of competitive races and won’t mind stepping up to 7f.

SWILLY SUNSET ended his run of wins with a second at Sandown last time but it was arguably his best effort in going down by a head.
He has seen out this trip well on his two attempts at it and has no problem with some give in the ground.
