GOODWOOD

2.10

IBN AL EMARAT has been going well on the all-weather and is interesting on this turf debut.

He stepped up on his previous efforts to finish a close second at Chelmsford last time and it wouldn’t take a lot more to get his head in front.

2.45

ICONIC BELLE took a step up in distance in her stride when finishing third at Bath last time out.

She seemed to handle this track well enough here in June and this is the easiest assigment she’s had so far.

FRONTISPIECE doesn’t have many miles on the clock but was right at home when second here last time out.

The ground was very testing that day but he went in much faster conditions when winning at Ascot and

Sandown. He is up just 3lb for that last good run and should be competitive again.

Steve Mullen's star bet

4.30 Goodwood - Dutch Connection: 'He’s tasted success over this course and distance before and should be in the shake-up'

3.55

CITY GROUND came back from a break to run a solid race at Windsor last time where he went better than eighth place suggests.

His best form has come over this trip and he’s now dropped to 4lb below his last winning mark.

Serena Brotherton will be an asset in the saddle at this tricky track and they should be on the premises.

4.30 - Mullen's star bet

DUTCH CONNECTION didn’t get the run of the race when sixth at The Curragh last time and is better judged on his excellent sixth in the Queen Anne Stakes at Royal Ascot.

He’s tasted success over this course and distance before and should be in the shake-up.

5.05

GLENYS THE MENACE got the job done well when landing her third win in four outings at Ascot last time out. The handicapper has been reasonable with a 3lb rise and she sees out this distance well.

5.40

OPERATIVE has been knocking on the door off this sort of mark and was again right on the premises at Nottingham last time out. He has enough zip for this distance and comes from a handy draw in stall 2.
