JAGANORY has dropped to just 1lb higher than when winning here over 100 yards further in June. He has come back here twice since and gone well enough each time, including when not disgraced last time.

The drop in distance isn’t a problem and he gets on with today’s rider.

Three Little Birds has had lots of chances so although her form is probably the strongest in the race ZAPATEADO makes more appeal.

He showed up well enough on debut at Windsor last time and should improve for that. He was noticeably green so the experience should have done him good.

INGLEBY MACKENZIE continues to hold his form really well and was a game second at Thirsk last time out.

He is stepping up from 1m4f here but gives the impression it won’t be a problem because he usually finishes off his races strongly.

DOWAYLA won as she liked over a mile here last time having been beaten in a photo over this trip earlier.

Her liking for the track is a plus and she’s effectively only 1lb higher thanks to her rider’s claim. She wouldn’t have to improve much to win.

Hughie Morrison does well with handicap debutantes so his CELTIK SECRET is worth a look.

She is taking a fair hike in distance after three quiet runs in maidens and an opening mark of 61 is not setting the bar too high.

HEART OF GOLD is progressing nicely and took a leap forward when second at Nottingham last time out. She went from the front and kept going once headed to be beaten just half a length.

There should be more to come from a fair mark.

LIBERATUM keeps knocking on the door and could get off the mark from a god draw.

He was beaten less than a length for the second time in three races at Thirsk last time and will find this sounder surface more to his liking.
