IT'S fair to say if results on Wednesday go like results on Tuesday we are all going to be very poor by the end of the week!
However, this is a game where circumstances can change very quickly, and if Churchill can fight them on the beaches then we can certainly smash up the bookies in the ring!
So Wednesday the ITV coverage starts with the 1.50pm at Goodwood, a near 2m5f handicap featuring a lot of familiar names.
I'm going to have a few quid each-way on STAR RIDER, last year's winner for Hughie Morrison.
The selection was winning off a handicap mark of 85 in 2016 and races off 94 now, but she stays well and likes the track. She could well bounce back to form.
There's a tricky near 1m4f handicap at 2.25pm, and with just 8st on his back and a good draw I think GALACTIC PRINCE will run well for Andrew Balding and Jimmy Quinn.

The selection was a fair third at Ascot last time when staying on nicely. Has every chance of getting a place.
It's the Group 3 Molecomb over 5f at 3.00pm, and there's no doubt HAPPY LIKE A FOOL will be hard to catch after a second to the talented Heartache in the Queen Mary Stakes at Royal Ascot.
Matt Chapman's Goodwood tips!
1.50 Goodwood - Star Rider
2.25 Goodwood - Galactic Prince
3.00 Goodwood - Happy Like A Fool
3.35 Goodwood - Churchill
This track suits speed and she will be hard to catch for US trainer Wesley Ward.
Finally the big match between established older star Ribchester and the three-year-old Churchill, who gets 7lb.
My feeling is Ribchester is like Highland Reel...a star but vulnerable to something out the ordinary.
CHURCHILL was out the ordinary until he ran at Ascot, but there he looked just decent.
I'm taking him to bounce back in a race he could easily win on Guineas form for Aidan O'Brien.
So best of luck on Goodwood Day two. Hoping for a Yeeehaaa! You Betcha!
