FOXY FOREVER was a close-up fifth in a hotter handicap than this at Newmarket last week. He was asked to come from a long way back there and did well to be beaten just over a length.
That was on the back of an excellent third at Sandown off this mark where he was less than half a length off the pace. A repeat of those efforts would put him right in the mix.
African Friend looks a danger after a game win at Windsor last time on just his second run.

The betting will be a good guide to this. Although Quayside won nicely last time, the ground will be a lot faster today, which is a concern.
HUMBLE GRATITUDE holds some nice entries later in the year and is bred for this trip as a juvenile. He gets the nod over some other potentially nice newcomers in Warton and Diamond Set.
2.55
STORM OVER ran away with it at Redcar last time, following up his debut win at Wolverhampton in style. Those wins were over 5f but he looks as though this step up in distance will be ideal.
The form of his last victory is standing up and he should progress enough for this.
Black Isle Boy could outrun his odds back on a firmer surface after not taking to the soft ground at Pontefract last time.

DREAM MACHINE did well to finish second at Epsom last week despite not liking the track that much.
Thanks to his rider’s claim, he is effectively 2lb lower than his last run over course and distance that saw him win with a bit up his sleeve. This ground will be ideal and he can get the better of Punkawallah.
4.05 - Mullen's star bet
JOSHUA REYNOLDS looked a nice staying prospect when winning well on his first crack over long distances at Newcastle last time out.
The ground was on the soft side there but he went well in quicker conditions at Newmarket two starts ago so it shouldn’t be a problem.
He is up 8lb for a convincing victory but looks capable of defying this mark too.

SHARJA BRIDGE will be a very short price but it’s hard to see anything improving past him here.
He was a solid third in a good maiden over course and distance on debut last time and that race is already working out well. He wouldn’t have to improve to take this.
5.05
We’ll take a chance on RALPHY BOY who is on what could be a giveaway mark, especially with a 5lb claimer on his back.
He put in a solid effort when sixth at Thirsk last time and has some decent runs to his name this season over this trip.
