Johnny Murtagh’s True Valour has Hungerford Stakes possibility at Newbury next month
True Valour had previously run at both Epsom and Royal Ascot before getting back to winning ways at the Curragh earlier this month
LISTED winner True Valour could head back to Britain for a crack at the Betfred Hungerford Stakes at Newbury next month.
Johnny Murtagh's three-year-old returned to winning ways at the Curragh earlier this month but had previously put in respectable performances at both Epsom and Royal Ascot.
Murtagh said: "We are just giving True Valour a little bit of a break. He is having an easy time at the moment.
"The Hungerford Stakes is still on the radar. The thing is they go a fast pace over in Britain, so the the drop back to seven furlongs should be fine. He is pretty versatile.
