Thomas Hobson was impressive when winning the Ascot Stakes on Tuesday and he has come out of the race in great form ready for his next challenge
THOMAS HOBSON will try to emulate stablemate Simenon by adding Saturday's Queen Alexandra Stakes to his Ascot Stakes victory earlier in the week.
Fellow Willie Mullins inmate Simenon claimed both races in 2012 and Thomas Hobson will be aiming to repeat the feat following his effortless success over two and a half miles on Tuesday.
He will tackle an extra furlong and a half on Saturday, with Aidan O'Brien's US Army Ranger another fascinating contender in the conditions race.
