he had plenty of trouble in running and picked up well in the closing stages. This trip suits and there should be more improvement to come.

SIR JACK is still a maiden but is a regular frame finisher as he showed when third at Brighton last time out.

He was forced to come very wide there and it didn’t help his chances much. He stays this trip well and is taking a fair drop in class today.

MISTER MUSIC had to sit and suffer before finishing third here last time, beaten just a neck. The time spent waiting for a gap to open proved fatal over 7f and this extra furlong will suit.

PERFECT IN PINK has not shown a little promise in three runs to date and it’s interesting that she’s being kept in maiden company here.

She was suited by the step up this trip on turf at Lingfield last time and has enough improvement in her to take this.

EJAABY didn’t quite get home over 7f here last time and the drop back in trip looks a smart move.

He picked up really well and led passing the furlong pole only to run out of petrol late on. That was just his fourth run so there should be more to come.

INDIGO PRINCESS has been upped just 2lb for winning at Nottingham last time which gives her every chance of following up.

She drops back in trip here but that shouldn’t be a problem as she was a close second at Yarmouth the last time she tackled 7f.

THE LOCK MASTER is almost old enough for his bus pass but he continues to be a model of consistency.

He won well at Southwell last time out but is equally at home on any kind of turf going. He can advantage of his lower mark on the green stuff too.
