GOODWOOD

2.00

MOTHER OF DRAGONS won’t be much of a price but showed lots of promise on her debut at Windsor last time out.

She had lots of early speed and was only run out of it in the closing stages. Handling that course bodes well for around here and she should improve.

2.35

PASTORAL PLAYER can flash his tail but that hasn’t stopped him winning plenty of races, including one over this course and distance.

He has taken a drop down the weights and went close off this mark at Lingfield last time out.

He should like this ground and is helped by a good draw, while many of the form horses haven’t been.

3.10

QUEEN OF TIME showed her liking for this course when winning here well over 7f last time out.

She finished that race strongly, giving the impression that this longer trip will be fine.

An opening handicap mark of 79 looks fair, especially with her rider taking 3lb off.

3.45

KHALIDI looks to have improved on last season’s form and picked up a Listed contest at Newmarket last month.

He was then third to Permian at the same track and that form has been franked by him coming out to win the Dante.

This step up in trip shouldn’t be a problem and he’s won here so the track isn’t an issue.

DARKROOM ANGEL loves it here as she showed when scoring over 1m2f last time with plenty left in the tank.

The ground was rock hard that day and the conditions should be the same here.

She has been put a fair 6lb up the weights for that but is still improving so it shouldn’t be a problem.

4.55

MAZZINI was entitled to a poor run at Ascot last time after being upset by a tumble in the paddock.

He has lots of good form over this trip and has shown his best on fast ground.

A handicap mark of 90 doesn’t look excessive and the Fanshawe horses are in good form at the moment.

5.25

MIDNIGHTLY won on the all-weather at Chelmsford in March and showed his liking for this ground when a close-up third at Windsor on his turf debut.

He handled the tricky track well enough and a 1lb rise in the weights for that good last run is more than fair.
