French 1000 Guineas – Dabyah set to head to France for John Gosden
Gosden's filly had some good two-year-old form in the book but she was impressive when winning the Fred Darling last time out on her first run this year
JOHN GOSDEN's talented filly Dabyah is one of 24 fillies left in contention for the French 1000 Guineas on Saturday.
Dabyah was last seen winning the Fred Darling at Newbury and connections are hoping she can be involved at the weekend.
"We think she'll be going over there with a good shout," said Bruce Raymond, racing manager for owner Abdullah Saeed Al Naboodah, who had Daban finish third to Winter at Newmarket on Sunday.
"She was good last season, and ran a lovely race at Newbury on her comeback.
"It didn't look like Frankie had to get too serious, so it was the perfect trial really."
William Haggas has left in Sea Of Grace and Cristal Fizz, Richard Hannon could run Promising while Charlie Appleby's Sobetsu is another possible along with Simon Crisford's Asidious Alexander.
Aidan O'Brien can call on Roly Poly, Smoulder, Asking and Rain Goddess.
Andre Fabre's Lady Frankel, Pascal Bary's Senga and Delectation are others to note.
