MUSSELBURGH

FLAWLESSLY showed lots of pace when second at Catterick last time and should be suited by this sharp track. She went close at the same venue on his debut last season and looks a certain future winner. Her handicap mark of 62 looks more than fair too.

SHOBROM showed lots of promise on his debut at Newmarket last time where he was bang in contention for much of the race. His inexperience told in the final furlong but that is to be expected. He wouldn’t have to improve a lot on that to be competitive here.

ATTEQ lagged in at Beverley last week and comes back for more under a penalty. He had seven lengths in hand there and this race is no tougher. Given that the ground and trip are the same he should be hard to beat. If he’s too short for your tastes, Dapper Man was second there and could get closer this time.

None of these have been setting the world alight but GREEN LIGHT was beaten just two lengths at Thirsk last time and that’s the best form on show. He was coming back from four months off there and handles this trip well.

ELECTION DAY is in cracking form and can land his third win in four outings. He lost little in defeat at Beverley last time against a horse that was too good for the grade. He’d earlier had a bit in hand on the all-weather at Newcastle and at Hamilon. This trip should suit and he’s still on a fair mark.

TADAAWOL has been knocking on the door and went down fighting when second at Doncaster last time out. That was over this 7f on fast ground and from the same mark. He went well at Catterick two starts ago so should have no problem with this track either.

LET BE RIGHT DONE hasn’t been firing on the all-weather but was a close-up third on his last turf run, which came here over a mile. He has dropped to 4lb lower than the mark of that outing and the first-time cheekpieces could pep him up at a big price.
