TOWCESTER TIPS
2.10
BANDON ROC kept digging deep and finding more when scoring at Huntingdon last time out. That was over 3m1f but that will feel similar to this shorter distance at demanding Towcester. He won’t mind some give in the ground and a 7lb rise in the weights looks reasonable enough.
2.40
ACT NOW had 18 lengths to spare when winning as she liked at Plumpton last time out. That was over a similar trip in soft ground so there’s no reason why she cannot follow up. The only potential spanner in the works is coming out again so soon.
3.10
YANMARE stays all day so this track on soft ground should really play to his strengths. He wears cheekpieces today after running in snatches a bit when a close-up second at Warwick last time out. That could give him the little boost he needs here.

Mullen's Best Bet

Towcester 3.10: Yanmare

3.40
It will be a major upset if SOLIGHOSTER isn’t good enough to win this without breaking much sweat. He won a Newcastle bumper before winning by 17 lengths on his hurdling debut at Fontwell last time out. He made all there and skipped away from his rivals and can do it again.
4.10
Putting a pair of blinkers on LUNAR FLOW made all the difference at Uttoxeter last week. He scooted in by a distance in a race that looked similar to this one. He relishes soft ground and a 7lb penalty should be defied with few problems.
4.40
CADEYRN had plenty up his sleeve when winning at Chepstow at Christmas when the soft ground suited ideally. He will stay further than this 2m trip and that should be an asset around here.
