VERNI (3.50 Taunton, nb) has won twice from four starts since joining Philip Hobbs. He chased home smart Clyne at Haydock in November and is at his best after a break.
WOTZINAME (4.10 Musselburgh, treble) won both his starts over hurdles. He tried chasing in November and his stamina will come in handy for this return to hurdles.
