Trainer Mark Johnston, who used to train near a bombing range, notches incredible 5,000th winner
UNSTOPPABLE Mark Johnston hit another Milestone at Kempton Park.
Dubai Mile landed the novice stakes to give Johnston, 62, his 5,000th British win.
The Yorkshire-based Scot had set a new record for British wins four years ago.
And Dubai Mile's win was another lofty landmark other trainers can only dream of matching.
Johnston, who now trains on a joint licence with his son Charlie, said: "It's a bit different from breaking the record in 2018.
"It's not as if I'm breaking new ground, it's just another landmark and setting the bar higher for people to try to reach.

Johnston, a qualified vet, began training with just a handful of horses 1987 - next door to an RAF bombing range.

His wins include two British Classics, the 2,000 Guineas with Mister Baileys in 1994 and Attraction in the 1,000 Guineas ten years later.
