Racing tips TODAY: Templegate NAPS 4/1 shot at Lingfield who can score after an unlucky run at Doncaster

TEMPLEGATE has been through the formbook and reckons he has a few good things lined up for today's action.

Read on for our man's top tips.

AKKERINGA (5.40 Lingfield, nap).

In-form Stuart Williams can have another winner with this three-year-old who was unlucky at Doncaster last time. He had to settle for a close-up third after making his challenge too late. He can score if closer to the pace.

TILSWORTH ROSE (5.05 Chelmsford, nb)

She was impressive when scoring over course and distance 11 days ago. She’s back in a similar race under a 4lb penalty which won’t put the brakes on.

ROYAL PROSPECT (4.25 Carlisle, treble)

He was coming with a strong run at Doncaster last time when the door was slammed in his face. He can make up for that in an easier race.

Won well here last time and can strike again.

Best over this C&D and looks hard to beat.

In good form and another good run at Kempton latest.

Looks capable of better over this longer distance.

Improved effort when second at Newbury on last start.

Won here last time and can follow up under penalty.

Well bred and yard won this with newcomer in 2019.

Likes this trip and first-time tongue tie can work wonders.

Plenty in hand when winning on hurdling debut.

Only a late error stopped him winning at Stratford latest.

Has form in much stronger company than this.

Consistent and likes this sort of stamina test.

Good run at Worcester last time and down the weights.

Going well before a late unseat at Tramore last time.

Has sights lowered here at a track that suits.
