Horse racing Derby tips TODAY: Templegate all over big favourite for Derby at Epsom as he picks master Aidan O’Brien

IT'S Derby day at Epsom and our man Templegate could not be in better form heading into the big day.

Read on to find our man's top tips for Saturday as the Derby Festival continues.

BOLSHOI BALLET (4.30 Epsom, nap)

The fact Aidan O’Brien pulled out his other five hopefuls shows just how confident ‘The Lads’ are of success.

And it’s easy to see why. This son of superstar sire Galileo kicked off this season by winning the Ballysax Stakes at Leopardstown before returning to take the Derrinstown Stud Trial by six lengths in a scorching time.

Stepping up to the Classic trip should bring more improvement.

He ran the useful Bay Bridge close at Newbury last time on the back of a romp at Pontefract.

He is one of the few proven stayers in the field and the ground will be fine.

BELL ROCK (3.10 Epsom, treble)

He clocked a personal best when winning a hot Newmarket handicap on comeback latest.

This trip suits on any ground and Andrew Balding continues to send out winners galore.
