OISIN MURPHY claimed he was pumping things up in the weighing room at Lingfield with some James Blunt.
Champion jockey Murphy, 25, picked up a win on Inchicore in the 1.40 at Lingfield on Saturday.
And when asked by ITV Racing what tunes he was playing he gave the surprise answer – with a touch of humour.
The interviewer said: “I asked Ben Curtis because you were in the weighing room and he was outside, I said could you go and grab Oisin out of the weighing room and he said ‘he’s currently on the decks playing the sort of pump up music for the jockeys’.
"You were the DJ today so what were you playing for the jockeys to get them in the zone?
And Murphy replied: “James Blunt, three wise men.”
Chris Hughes responded on Instagram saying: “Fair choice.”
