GET ready for Cheltenham Festival with Paddy Power and prize thoroughbred Peter Crouch.

OK, the former England striker might have two legs rather than four, but he still knows his stuff when it comes to horses.

It starts with model wife Abbey Clancy chucking him some Paddy Power 'lucky pants'.

Chappers and Gina then take it in turns to poke fun at Crouchy.

At one point Gina says: "He hasn't got the most attractive head, he's a leggy sort with a robotic stride, but he has an impressive turn of foot for his size."

And Matt adds: "He must be 20 hands at least!

"He's moved stables a lot… but he's in form at home."

The brilliant clip ends with Crouchy settling down on the sofa to watch the action - like we all will be doing this year due to Covid.

A spokesman said: "Peter Crouch really can do it all. Score goals, make podcasts, and nail a Tom Cruise-style slide for those old enough to remember the movie Risky Business. Me neither.

"This Cheltenham, there’ll be one mainstay of the Festival, the couch, so we wanted to celebrate the viewers’ saddle by putting the UK’s favourite couple on it, too."

Crouchy said: "Thank you, Paddy Power – it’s not often I’m compared to a thoroughbred. Usually, it’s just 'workhorse'."

Cheltenham Festival gets underway on Tuesday, March 16 and runs until Friday, March 19.
