Frankie Dettori has been riding winners for fun in Dubai this winter, and he partners crack sprinter A'Ali in the Group 2 Meydan Sprint.
But Simon Crisford's speedster has to give weight all-round and could be vulnerable first time out, so I'm taking him on with EQUILATERAL (3.05 Meydan).
Charlie Hills' sprinter has always had tons of ability, but he hasn't always been the most reliable.
He was hugely impressive over C&D last time out, though, showing serious gears to beat Lazuli and his pals here four weeks ago.
This flat, speedy 5f course suits Equilateral down to the ground and he is clearly a horse who thrives out in the Dubai with the winter sun on his back.
You're always taking a slight risk with this horse, but the ability is there and if he can run to the same level on Thursday afternoon he will take plenty of beating.

In the following race, I'm all over TAILOR'S ROW (3.40 Meydan) like a cheap suit.
Salem bin Ghadayer's in-form seven-year-old was beaten a nose (front two clear) when second in a Listed race at Jebel Ali last time out.
This is a Listed handicap so it's a slight drop in grade for the talented son of Street Cry, who has plenty of strong course form to his name.
He likes to get on with things and is drawn well to attack in stall five, while Mickael Barzalona is different gravy from the front on the dirt course at Meydan.
It's a competitive heat but he's the best horse in the race for my money and I'll side with him over the lightly-raced Godolphin runners.
