MOGUL can do the business for Ryan Moore and Aidan O’Brien. He didn’t get the breaks when still running well at the Breeders’ Cup after taking the Grand Prix De Paris in style.
He loves this trip and won’t mind the fast ground. Local star Zac Purton rides big threat Exultant who has won four of his six starts over this trip and track.
He went close in a hot contest here last time. Columbus County looks the only other contender but he’s not won beyond handicap level so far.

CLASSIQUE LEGEND looks hard to beat if taking to this new track. He hammered his rivals to win the red-hot Everest in Australia last time and this trip is ideal.
Hot King Prawn was second in this 12 months ago and is the best local hope. He was an impressive Group 2 winner here last time. Big Time Baby came back from a long break in that race and could finish a lot closer today at long odds.
Japanese raiders Danon Smash and Tower Of London could have better draws but could figure with a little luck in running.

7.50AM HONG KONG MILE
ORDER OF AUSTRALIA is a big price to match his Breeders’ Cup Mile heroics. He clearly travels well and a repeat of his Keeneland run can see him in the frame.
Golden Sixty is the clear danger after he extended his winning run to 10. He is proven at the highest level and is used to the track. Beauty Generation is past his brilliant best but could still be good enough to figure in a race he’s won twice.
Last year’s winner Admire Mars has not been in great form but is still respected.

FURORE has magic man Joao Moreira on board and his know-how at Sha Tin can make the difference. He’s landed big victories heading into this and was less than two lengths off the winner last year.
The ground is good which is still a lot faster than Skalleti would ideally like but he has some top-class form which includes a defeat of Arc winner Sottsaas at Deauville in August.
Don’t write him off despite the firmer conditions. Magical has had a hard season but ran another cracker at the Breeders’ Cup and will go close. Danon Premium was fourth in a red-hot Japanese Group 1 last time and has place claims.
