Brooks ‘Hulk’ Koepka is golf’s strongest man at Masters 2019… with the most stunning girlfriend

Three-time major champion can bench almost 150kg and has been existing on a 1,800-calorie-a-day diet for a naked photo shoot

BROOKS 'HULK' KOEPKA is easily the strongest golfer at the Masters.

And the three-time major champion - who has seen his career quite literally go from strength to strength - has arguably the most stunning girlfriend too.

Koepka and Jena Sims look like a Hollywood A-list couple with their chiselled abdomens, tanned skin and million dollar smiles.

But Koepka's Adonis-like body has come from gruelling workouts and a strict 1,800-calorie-a-day diet that he has restricted himself to for a naked photo shoot.

Koepka, who has two US Open crowns and a US PGA championship win to his name, can bench almost 150kg - roughly the same weight as a big adult male panda.

Go in any gym anywhere, and you're unlikely to find anyone throwing around so much weight.

He can chuck 100kg up for 14 reps. Hell, he even did that on the morning of the final round of last year's US Open - which he won.

No wonder he has impressed gorgeous girlfriend Jena Sims.

Koepka's Instagram is full of photos of himself busting a sweat in the gym. Whether it's burning calories on the watt bike, building up a strong lower back through deadlifts or stretching to maintain flexibility in his powerful, modern swing.

But he is not without his critics.

As part of his recent drastic diet which saw him lose almost two stone, Koepka was slammed by respected Golf Channel pundit and former PGA Tour star Brandel Chamblee, who laid into him for putting his body before his golf.

'RECKLESS SELF-SABOTAGE'

He said Keopka's decision to lean up and change his body was the "most reckless self-sabotage that I have ever seen of an athlete in his prime".

Never mind Koepka being starving, it was Chamblee who was made to eat his words after the 28-year-old took a share of the first round lead at Augusta thanks to a six-under 66.

And Koepka hit back at Chamblee after his opening round. He said: "Well, I lift all the time. I lift too many weights and I'm too big to play golf. And then when I lose weight, I'm too small. So, I don't know what to say.

"Listen, I'm going to make me happy. I don't care what anybody else says. I'm doing it for me and obviously it seems to work."

And who can argue? No one is more impressive in the majors than Koepka right now.

But looking good has come at a cost - albeit a temporary one.

Koepka, who learned his killer instinct on the second-tier Challenge Tour in Europe, said: "The diet I was on was probably not the best. I was 1,800 calories a day. You're not going to be in the best physical shape at that point.

"But I wanted to do it and try to lose some weight.

"Maybe I went about it a little too aggressively for just a long period of time and the intensity of what I was doing."

It has obviously paid off, though.

Koepka is dating stunning actress Sims, who has starred in films such as Attack of the 50ft Cheerleader.

She travels the world with her fella and is in Augusta this week, cheering him on to what could be a first green jacket.

Just need to make sure it fits over those biceps.
