Danny Willett brands the European Tour’s vision of playing under floodlights a ‘useless idea’
DANNY WILLETT branded the European Tour’s vision of playing under floodlights a “useless idea”.

“As soon as you hit a ball above the floodlights you’ve lost track of it, which is really off-putting.
“And reading greens under lights is too difficult. You wouldn’t want to play for money under those circumstances.”
Pelley said: “The guys I’ve spoken to love it. We will do something fun next year under the lights.”
Willett is joint-21st in Turkey after a two-under first-round 69, five behind leader George Coetzee.
