MANCHESTER UNITED target Antoine Griezmann says his future at Atletico Madrid depends on boss Diego Simeone.
French playmaker Griezmann is one of the most sought after players in world football after starring during Euro 2016.
United boss Jose Mourinho has already been given the green light to try to take the Atletico Madrid star to Old Trafford next summer.
But Griezmann insists he is happy in the Spanish capital - all the while manager Simeone is still in charge.
Simeone has been linked with taking control at Paris Saint Germain while a host of other top clubs in Europe admire the Argentine.
And if he decided to end his successful spell in charge at Atletico, then 25-year-old Griezmann has hinted he could follow him in leaving the club - with United and PSG at the head of the queue of clubs interested.
Speaking to Telefoot, Griezmann said: "The only doubt would be if Simeone leaves for PSG or wherever.
"I called him before extending my contract and he confirmed to me that he was staying. I can learn a lot from him.
"PSG are not my goal at the moment. I'm happy in Spain.
"I'm always proud to be popular with the fans. I try to smile and do my best. If they like it, it's even better."
Griezmann has become one of the world's best players since moving to Atletico in 2014, and has only just been tied down to a new five-year contract.
But he came close to leaving for PSG earlier this summer, only to commit his future to the La Liga club after he spoke with Simeone.
At that stage the manager was considering his own future, having been beaten by local rivals Real Madrid in the Champions League final in May.
United boss Mourinho is happy with his current squad at Old Trafford having signed four players since taking over from Louis van Gaal in the summer.
