Ian Wright believes there is no holding back Manchester United wonderkid Marcus Rashford –  with the Arsenal legend saying that the teenager will become a first-team starter for United by the end of the season.

Rashford, 19, made his first league appearance of the season in United's 1-0 win at Hull on Saturday, coming off the bench in the 71st minute to score the dramatic winner in injury time.

Speaking in the Sun's podcast alongside Shaun Custis, Wrighty said: "He has to be patient. He's at United training with magnificent players on a daily basis.

"There's no rush. Why would he go on loan anywhere? He's got Pogba and Ibrahimovic behind him.

"By the end of the season he'll be starting with Ibrahimovic behind him.

"He's literally in the best situation he could be in as an 18-year-old."

Wrighty also spoke about surprise England call-up Michail Antonio on the podcast, saying that the West Ham man deserved to be picked by Sam Allardyce.

The former striker Wright made his international debut at the age of 26, the same age that Antonio is now.
