Paul Pogba to Manchester United: £105m Frenchman ‘agrees personal terms’ on £220,000 five-year contract with United AFTER TAX

PAUL POGBA is set to become Manchester United’s highest-paid player on a £220,000 per week AFTER TAX.
The France midfielder is closing in on his world-record £105milllion transfer from Juventus after agreeing personal terms with United, the club he left four years ago.
The Daily Mail have reported that the 23-year-old has agreed personal terms on a five-year contract to re-join United worth a mammoth £220,000 a week after tax.
Pogba's salary before the tax man, a reported £400,000 a week, just shades team-mate Wayne Rooney for him to become the highest earner at Old Trafford. Rooney is believed to be paid around £19.9m a year, with Pogba's deal equalling close to £21m in his wages per year. New signing, the mercurial Swede Zlatan Ibrahimovic, gets a reported £18m for his one-year deal at United.

After tax it adds up to £60million for the five-year contract for Pogba, according to the reports.
Pogba left United to join Juve on a free transfer in 2012 with first-team opportunities scarce. In total he only made seven appearances for United.
He has since gone on to become one of the best players in world football, winning four Serie A titles with the Italian side but in his three years at Old Trafford he made only three Premier League appearances.
Pogba is currently on holiday in the United States with Everton striker Romelu Lukaku, who is also looked after by agent Mino Raiola.
Manager Jose Mourinho and the United squad are currently in China on their pre-season tour.
United executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward did not travel with the squad on their pre-season tour of the Far East in order to wrap up a world-record deal for Pogba.
