PEP GUARDIOLA took a PAY CUT to join Manchester City from Bayern Munich, The Sun can reveal.
The ex-Barcelona boss was on a £15million-a-year basic wage deal at the German giants.
But It has emerged that Guardiola is on around £12m at City - with his wages being topped up with incentives.
He will earn millions of extra cash if he guides his new club to the Premier League or Champions League title.
A City source said: "Pep is actually on less money than he was at Bayern. He was on £15m a year basic there.
"He is on £12m at City and his deal can be topped up by a number of major bonuses for winning trophies.
"City moved to a heavily incentivised bonus structure two years ago to help bring wage bill down and combat FFP."
