BEST TRANSFER: Manchester City midfielder Ilkay Gundogan. Pep acted swiftly to snap him up from Borussia Dortmund so he must have something about him.
BIGGEST SURPRISE: Ronald Koeman leaving Southampton for Everton.
GET HIM IN: Northern Ireland’s out-of-contract Euro 2016 keeper Michael McGovern.
BIGGEST BUZZ: For now it is still Leicester, thanks to Jamie Vardy snubbing Arsenal.

BIGGEST SURPRISE: Jamie Vardy sticking with Leicester. Fabulous news that gives hope to all smaller clubs — which Claudio Ranieri’s Unbelievables still are despite their historic Prem triumph.
GET HIM IN: Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang. Borussia Dortmund’s gift of the Gabon could form a mouth-watering partnership with Sergio Aguero at Manchester City.

BEST NEW BOSS: Mourinho. The Special One is at The Special Club at last.
BEST TRANSFER: Ibrahimovic may not be a long-term hit like Eric Cantona but you won’t want to miss a minute.
BIGGEST SURPRISE: Granit Xhaka’s fee. He hardly set the Euros alight and £30million seems a lot.
BIGGEST BUZZ: Everton. Ronald Koeman was a great appointment.

BEST NEW BOSS: It has to be Antonio Conte at Chelsea on the evidence of Euro 2016.
BIGGEST BUZZ: Leicester. Holding on to Jamie Vardy is huge, seeing how they tackle the Champions League will be a treat.
GET HIM IN: Antoine Griezmann. Atletico will surely be forced to sell and he would be an asset to any big club.
