Swede was responding to club legend's suggestion he could be the Prince of Manchester but not king
ZLATAN IBRAHIMOVIC has boldly declared he will be God of Manchester in response to United legend Eric Cantona's comments.
The Frenchman had claimed that Ibra could be the prince as there would only ever be one king.
But Ibrahimovic - who signed a one-year deal this summer - replied in a typically confident manner.
Swedish paper , report him as saying: "I admire Cantona. And I heard what he said. But I won’t be King of Manchester. I will be God of Manchester."
Ibrahimovic, 34, is expected to join Jose Mourinho's squad next week and fans are excited by seeing what he has to offer.
The retired Swedish international scored 38 league goals last season to win a fourth successive title with Paris Saint-Germain.
Iconic No7 Cantona told the incoming superstar he had made the best decision he had ever made in joining Mourinho at United.
And the Frenhman added: “Just one last thing, there can only be one King in Manchester.
