N’Golo Kante agrees five-year deal to move to Chelsea from Leicester for £29million
French midfielder set to put pen-to-paper and complete move from Premier League winners to Stamford Bridge side
N’GOLO KANTE has agreed to sign for Chelsea, according to reports in France.
The Blues had recently agreed a £29million with Leicester for the holding midfielder.
And have now confirmed the deal has been agreed and Kante will sign a five-year deal at Stamford Bridge.
The Frenchman’s release clause at the King Power stadium was set at £22m.
However, a bid from Shanghai SIPG meant Chelsea had to go higher in order match the Chinese Super League club’s offer.

Kante’s switch to Chelsea also raises serious question marks over the future of Nemanja Matic.
The pair play in similar positions and the Serb has been heavily linked with a reunion with former boss, Jose Mourinho, at Manchester United.
Kante moved to Leicester from Cannes and went on to star as the Foxes won a historic Premier League title under the stewardship of Ranieri.
He was also part of the French squad which finished runners up to Portugal at Euro 2016.
