Chelsea boss Antonio Conte closing in on double raid for N’Golo Kante and Kalidou Koulibaly to boost title challenge
Blues are confident of landing Leicester ace from the champions with a fee of around £30m agreed
ANTONIO CONTE is closing in on an £80million double raid for N’Golo Kante and Kalidou Koulibaly.
Chelsea are confident of landing the Leicester ace, 25, from the champions with a fee of around £30m agreed.
The Foxes have offered Kante a new contract worth over £100,000-a-week to try to persuade him the stay.
But the midfielder is understood to want a move to Stamford Bridge to play for the Italian.
New boss Conte appears to have missed out on No 1 defensive target Leonardo Bonucci, who looks set to stay at Juventus.
But he will now look to land Koulibaly, 25, instead.
Napoli are demanding a stunning £50m for the 6ft 5in Senegalese, which would match the fee Chelsea paid for record signing Fernando Torres in 2011.
Everton are also keen on the former France Under-21s man - who switched nationalities last year - but Blues chiefs believe they are in the box seat.
Chelsea have already signed Belgian striker Michy Batshuayi in a £33m deal.
