MANCHESTER UNITED starlet Andreas Pereira is being chased by Premier League champions Leicester.
Foxes boss Claudio Ranieri tried to get the 20-year-old on a six-month loan deal back in January.
But he is now wanted in a permanent switch as Leicester bolster their squad ahead of their first crack at the Champions League.
A United source said: "We had lots of clubs wanting to take Andreas on loan last season.
"He is highly-rated at Old Trafford and we want to keep him. There have been clubs ringing over the summer asking about his situation."
Meanwhile, Pereira will speak to United boss Jose Mourinho about representing Brazil at the Rio Olympics this week.

The ex-Chelsea chief is expected to accept his plea but will firstly take him on the Red Devil's tour of China.
Pereira will then be allowed to fly on to Brazil from their for the Games which kick off on August 5.
The youngster wants his future sorted before he heads off on the pre-season tour after a number of enquires this summer.
Pereira has made just four appearances for United since coming through their academy in 2014.
He was born in Belgium and represented them up Under-17 level before switching his allegiances to Brazil.
