John Stones to Manchester City: Barcelona believe Everton defender will sign for Pep Guardiola side after rejecting contract
Barca held talks with the England man but have conceded that he will join former boss Pep Guardiola at the Etihad
BARCELONA have conceded that Manchester City will sign John Stones this summer, after the Everton ace's agent met with representatives of the Catalan giants but REJECTED a £90,000 a week contract.
Stones, currently away on England duty at Euro 2016, is the subject of interest from a host of top European teams this summer, including City plus Manchester United and Chelsea.
Barcelona have been looking at the 22-year-old since 2014, but, according to the Daily Mail, the prospect of working with Pep Guardiola at City is proving too good to turn down for the centre-back.
Last summer, Chelsea made three bids for Stones – of £20 million, £26 million and £30 million – all of which were rejected by the Goodison Park side.

Stones was then reported to have handed in a transfer request to force through a move away from Goodison Park, but that was rejected too.
