HUNGARIAN fans clashed with the police in the stadium before the Hungary vs Iceland's Euro 2016 game in Marseille on Saturday.
Shocking images emerged showing supporters throwing punches in the Hungary end as panicked Stade Velodrome marshals fired tear gas.
Over 100 Hungarian fans wearing black near one corner of the stadium attempted to climb over a fence and join up with another group of Hungarian fans behind the goal.
There was then fighting between fans and stewards before the stewards backed off and tear gas was sprayed and riot police moved in.
Before the game, 30,000 Hungary fans marched through Marseille – the scene of fighting among Russia and England fans last Saturday.
