Manchester United 2016-17 fixtures: Premier League schedule as Jose Mourinho kicks off tenure at Bournmouth

JOSE MOURINHO will start his Manchester United reign at Bournemouth when the Premier League fixtures for the upcoming 2016-17 season were announced today.
Mourinho was sacked as Chelsea boss back in December, with the Blues – then the defending champions – languishing in 16th place in the league.

He has made one new signing for United – bringing in the defender Eric Bailly for £30m from Villarreal.
Mourinho said of the 22-year-old Ivorian defender: "Eric is a young central defender who has great natural talent. He’s progressed well to date and has the potential to become one of the best around."
