SERGIO AGUERO clearly handled the ball to set up Manchester City's third goal in their 3-1 win over Barcelona.
The Argentinian fell to the ground from Jesus Navas' pull-back - and the ball appeared to clearly deflect of his arm as he lost his balance.
And just a second later Ilkay Gundogan raced into the box to tap the ball into Marc-Andre Ter Stegen's net.
The German then raged at the officials on the touchline for not picking up Aguero's clear infringement.
City went on to win the tie thanks to a brace from Gundogan and a single goal from Kevin de Bruyne, who hit a dipping free kick past flapping Ter Stegen.
The home side were superb throughout the game at the Etihad, with City beating Barca at their own game: passing, moving and creating openings in the way only Pep Guardiola teams know how to.
Mark Halsey - the Whistleblower
MANCHESTER CITY’S third goal should have been disallowed for handball.
It is hard for the ref to see that, but what is the additional referee doing behind the goal?
Sergio Aguero has thrown himself forward with his arm. Those decisions are the reason why the additional ref is there.
But City should have had a spot-kick when Samuel Umtiti stood on Raheem Sterling’s foot.
There is clear contact. However, the problem is that the way Sterling goes down maybe convinced Viktor Kassai it was a dive.
