He jumped up to acclaim the goal but was struck down by a massive heart attack in front of fellow fans.

Paramedics rushed to treat him at a Madrid bar called El Bon Gust, but were unable to saved him as he passed away before reaching hospital.

Morata's winning goal meant saved Real from playing catch-up in their Champions League qualifying campaign, where they face Borussia Dortmund next.

The Spanish giants visit Germany on September 27 with Dortmund on a high after they thumped Legia Warsaw 6-0 on Wednesday.
