Man Utd scouts watched Brescia’s £30m-rated ace Sandro Tonali take on Juventus
MANCHESTER UNITED scouts were in attendance to watch Brescia star Sandro Tonali in action against Juventus last night.
The 19-year-old midfielder was joined in the starting XI by Mario Balotelli, who was making his debut for the club following his summer arrival.
And even though he was unable to stop the Serie A champions from claiming a 2-1 win, the Italian U21 ace impressed again in front of talent spotters.
According to , United’s deployed their scouts to the Stadio Mario Rigamonti to take a closer look at Tonali.
And that could mean they are preparing for a blockbuster January transfer swoop for the £30m-rated playmaker.
But Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will face stiff competition for the teenager.
Liverpool have long-been linked with an interest in Tonali.
And German giants Borussia Dortmund are also understood to be plotting a future move for the youngster.
Tonali has been likened to Azzurri legend Andrea Pirlo due to his playing style and hair.
He helped Brescia to win promotion to the top-flight last season and will be hoping to strengthen his growing reputation further in Serie A over the course of the campaign.
